Barcelona Community Manager

Patrick R.

Our Community Manager is your local friend in town. In Barcelona, Patrick organizes community activities for our members, and also curates the best events happening in town. After finishing his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Illinois, Patrick jumped on a plane to Spain to perfect his Spanish for what he thought would be one year. 14 years later, he is still here and loving every second of it. The chance to perfect his Spanish brought him here, but after falling in love with the city and culture, he has learned Catalan too! Patrick received a Masters degree from University of Barcelona and followed that up with a postgraduate degree in Intellectual History of Barcelona. He is also a licensed guide and content creator, full of helpful tips for your time in Barcelona and other parts of Spain. Patrick will easily talk to you about the latest Barça signing, new craft brews in the city or even a Gothic arch.
