During these months, the weather is mild, crowds are smaller, and the city is especially beautiful with blooming flowers or autumn foliage. These seasons provide the perfect atmosphere for exploring Prague’s historic streets and outdoor attractions. However, even the summer is a great time to visit as it is not as hot as places in southern Europe. Prague truly comes alive during the summer months! Bathed in the year's longest hours of sunshine, the city exudes a vibrant energy, with outdoor events and al fresco dining spilling onto its charming streets. You'll find Prague buzzing with excitement, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for sightseeing and soaking in the city's beauty.

Prague’s public transportation system is excellent, offering trams, buses, and a metro that are reliable and easy to use. Seniors can purchase discounted transport passes, and many attractions are located near tram stops. Walking is also enjoyable in the city’s flat, cobblestone streets, but taxis and rideshares are readily available if needed.
Great areas for seniors to stay in Prague include Old Town (Staré Město) for its central location and proximity to major landmarks, and Malá Strana (Lesser Town) for its quieter, picturesque charm. Both areas are walkable, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Our groups stay in New Town because it offers the perfect blend of modern vibrancy and historical grandeur. Imagine stepping out onto wide, elegant boulevards lined with impressive architecture, stylish shops, lively cafes, and diverse restaurants, all within an easy stroll of the enchanting Old Town.
Prague offers a rich culinary experience with dishes like svíčková (marinated beef with creamy sauce), goulash (hearty stew), and koláče (sweet pastry). Don’t miss out on tasting traditional Czech dumplings and sampling the world-famous Czech beers.

Absolutely! Seniors can enjoy relaxing day trips to nearby attractions like Karlštejn Castle, Kutná Hora (home to the Sedlec Ossuary), and Český Krumlov, a fairy-tale town with cobblestone streets and a historic castle.
