The social aspect and camaraderie of fellow participants was a big plus. Lunches and happy hours, belt making, tours of the surrounding area (Siena was a special highlight). Flexibility on the part of Giacomo and Martina to include visiting families. All in all, this program exceeded our expectations.”

The selection of Split was a great place to stay for a month. Lots of activities within the city and the local islands, and parks as well. Our community managers were outstanding and went above and beyond supporting our community. Cannot say enough good things about Stefanie and Mateo!

Valencia offered Clyde and Linda the accessibility and ease they hadn’t found in past travels. Their time with The Good Life Abroad was both restful and enriching, striking the perfect balance between culture and comfort.

Liked the balance of being independent while also having something of a support system. Liked having enough time so that we didn’t feel we had to fill every minute with activities. Our location was great and made it easy to ride public transport and shop. Liked the variety of experiences that Markus planned. Enjoyed activities that we planned on our own—Lippizaners, piano trio concert, several live theatre performances. I was actually glad not to be in the same building as a lot of others in the group, because we like to have more privacy and not feel like we always have to do things with others in the group.

As a solo traveler for the first time, this was a great way to meet new people, be independent or be with a group. Jen has been amazing. Communication with her was great. The whole trip has been so amazing and I would recommend this to everyone.
