Our community managers were excellent, our cohort of travelers gelled beautifully, Split is a beautiful city in a beautiful country, our accommodations were excellent and all was fun and satisfying.

The outline of the program is great—a mix of group activities, optional activities and suggestions for our own time. Love Martina and Giacomo—they were organized and communicated well to the group. I really liked the group programs they set up.

The program is exactly what it says it is. The Community Mgr. is key to its success and invaluable in helping members get adjusted to the location and culture. Having someone from GLA on the ground/in country was invaluable. Our apartment key card quit working late one night shortly after we arrived and we were locked out. Being able to call Frederica was a life saver. It was nice too to have some regular scheduled social activities on the calendar and a HUGE plus to have the shuttle services which were really needed due to Palazzo location. We also appreciated the weekly housekeeping and the beds and apartment were comfortable and clean. Having an onsite laundry room w/washers, dryers, and iron & ironing board was a plus. Having all participants (apartments) in the same building/Palazzo was a big plus.

Alex was a wonderful director in a the beautiful city of Paris.

“Support of local experts and fellow travelers. Expert advice on dining, getting around, local events and safety. Help with health issues as they arose. The social aspect and camaraderie of fellow participants was a big plus. Lunches and happy hours, belt making, tours of the surrounding area (Siena was a special highlight). Flexibility on the part of Giacomo and Martina to include visiting families. All in all, this program exceeded our expectations.”

A great experience!

The tour managers were fantastic and made us feel like locals. The weekly program events are great to visit local restaurants and bars. The Wednesday tours and cooking class were outstanding.

Perfect balance of free time vs. programmed time. Programmed lunches and happy hours were great for building relationships. Coordinator was very involved and personable. Tour guides were fun and knowledgeable. Accommodations were quality and well located. We made some good friends on this trip and would definitely do another one. Already making plans!
